I did a photoshoot today (well actually, retakes) from a local homeschool group. The kids are pretty funny and we had some great outtakes. My kids wanted to go with me, so we loaded everyone up and off we went. Kade was a great photographers assistant. He even...read his science & geography books during our down time!!! Yes you heard me right, all on his own!!! Ahhh... makes this mama very proud.
School went well today. Although N&H are still having comprehension issues. I sooooo wish that I could have read to them when they were little. I know the issues will eventually be overcome...but oh the process is painful sometimes. God, please give me the peace & patience I need to encourage them.
We are going to finish cleaning out my grandmothers storage unit on Saturday. We tried doing it this summer, however 120 degrees inside a metal building full of dusty, dirty stuff pretty much discourages you from pressing on! So we decided to wait until the weather was cooler.... and here it is. So off we go. Not looking forward to the process but am looking forward to getting it finished and off the list.
I am still in jelly making mode! Made some strawberry for Christmas gifts the other day. Fun! And that's about it. Need to get off to post-processing the school shots.
