Well here is the long awaited picture. Aren't we just the cutest thang you ever did see?!? Anya's hair has lightened considerably, it is a very pretty light brown. In the photo at the NAC, it was dark brown. Anya warmed up a little more today. We went to the orphanage to visit the children and she came and sat on my lap. Kade brought them balloons from McDonalds. Dima ran around the playground playing with Scott & Kade and showing the caretakers (every day there are new caretakers, they are on a 3 day rotation - tough for the children) his album. Anya & I looked at her album. The children asked for the balloons to have the air taken out of them so they could blow them back up.

We went shopping for apartments today. We looked at several places. We really have not stopped since we have been here. We are feeling a little worn down and it will be nice to find a place where we can settle for a couple of weeks. (Please forgive the typos again, this is one really nasty keyboard and not all of the keys work properly) Anyway, we will make that decision tomorrow and Natasha will be staying with us. We had a pretty frustrating day today. Lots of miscommunication and things getting lost in translation. It was a test of character day and I regretfully have to say I was not the mirror image of Jesus. I will try again tomorrow. I realized that I have not seen the sun since Mon. The "grayness" of this area is very dampening to ones spirits. Paul was joyful in jail and I can be joyful in this gray place. I will try again tomorrow. I am praying for you all. Thank you for your beautiful words. You have no idea how they lift us. Thank you! And for our buddies who are running to the computer to check the posts. We find that really funny! We have been in your shoes. Alicia, I love what you said about God being the Writer, us being the narrator and you all being the audience. Beautiful words cuz, I will pray with them tonight. Allison email me on yeahGod@inetfamily.us we can check that from here. Angela & Ginny we will lift your concerns before the King. Know we agree with you in prayer. Love ya! Kayla

Scott & Kade are going to write on the laptop and post later. So stay tuned.

PS: Ukrainian trivia: 90% of the drivers here are men. About 10% are women. So some of the women have a sticker large triangle (think yield sign) with a high heel shoe on it. It's the Ukrainians womens way to say "Hey, I am a woman driver, be patient with me.) Do you think that would fly in America.

Dear Thompsons - all five of you :)

What a wonderful wonderful day it has been for all of us to go to your site and see your family - all of you.

Am so thankful you arrived safe and sound and have already been united with your new family members - they are darling. I love Anya's pigtails and Dima is all smiles. Kade you must be so excited about being a big brother a wonderful big brother you will be.

Needless to say, God gave you the paience the last couple of years to wait for your new family - now he asks you to hang on a little longer until all this paper work, etc gets finished and you are on your way home. HOME - doesn't that sound wonderful and I know it seems like a long time, but you will be here soon......

Spring has arrived in OKC. We had rain last night and today everything was green and beautiful and just the right temperature. It will be all waiting for you when you arrive home.

Gonna head to bed, but just wanted to let you know I am praying for smooth sailing the days ahead and wonderful times becoming united as a family.

love to all
