Sorry guys...not much news today. We are so tired. We spent the morning & afternoon at a HUGE market and then late afternoon evening with the children. Then we had a meeting with the translator to try to clear some things up and now guess where we are going to dinner?!?! That's right, good ol' McD's. Woo hoo!
Fortunately we get to take the children out tomorrow morning for passport photos. That will be fun!
We will post more tomorrow. We've got to hurry and eat before we fall over asleep!
Love you all!

Hello Scott, Kade and Kayla, Glad to hear things are going well. I along with half the county can't wait for you all to get home. Did you every think you'd get sick of a McD's french fries??? I a Taco Bell/Sonic girl myself. I leave for New Mexico next week (the 26th) probably about the time you will start heading home. I look forward to seeing you and meeting the new additions. Love, Hugs, Kisses and Prayers.

Good Morning Thompsons -
It is about 7:16 OK time. I haven't quite figured out the time differences between OK and the Ukraine yet..
You story is incredible and we are praying for patience, lots of patience.
We had the Easter Celebration at Church on Saturday and there were lots of people. However, I over bought the donuts - like to the tune of 45 dozen. Thank goodness I bought at Walmart and they were cheap - I had bought 75 dozen - 900 donuts. Katie was working the donut table and she said lots of adults came through with kids and didn't eat. Can you imagine NOT eating a donut.
The donuts went to good use though as Jackie Travers took some to the fire station by her house and Katie and I took some to the fire station on MacArthur by Church and to the police station on 122nd.
I do know though people were thinking about you, or the abscence of you, as Zack was picking up crafts for you guys since we were not there. How thoughtful was that.
Allison came over on Saturday night and she and Katie dyed Easter eggs. It is so fun to see them together - what a wonderful friendship. Guess you know she is REALLY frustrated with the US Postal Service.
Both the kids were home for Easter - THANK YOU GOD. We went to Suzy's for dinner after Church.
Robbie is leaving on May 13th to return to Colorado for the summer. Pray for safe travels and that his car makes another trip to Colorado and survives another summer in the mountains. His girlfriend Kristin will also be Colorado this summer. She is doing an internship with the Denver Parks and Recreation. Her major is theraupetic recreation. We like her alot and Robbie is very "smitten" with her.
Has anyone shared with you Norman's news? He announced this week that he is retiring, but June of 2007, not this June. There is a minister that will replace him coming on board at Church this summer who will work with him for the following year. The new guy will officially be senior minister January 2007, but Norman will take a "emeritus" status in January until he his official retirement in June 2007. I forgot the new minister's name, but he has been at First Methodist in Ardmore. Everyone seems very excited about this new guy - he has big shoes to fill and a big job. But, when you are working so close to the Lord it helps. Lots of stuff happening at COS - it's an exciting time.
Better get ready for work - this is our last FW Friends tonight. Next week we have our closing with Friends and Family.
Know the days are long, but take comfort in the fact that you have tons of people praying for you at home and who are so anxious for the Thompson clan to arrive on OK soil.
Prayers and Love to all
Cathy
